Faculty Research Interests
The faculty of the Department of Health Policy, Management and Behavior have diverse backgrounds and academic fields of interest, including health policy, management, sociology, economics, health behavior, social psychology, gerontology, and health services research. The group has published manuscripts in the foremost medical journals ( Journal of the American Medical Association, The New England Journal of Medicine, Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Chest), public health policy and health services research journals ( Medical Care, American Journal of Public Health, Health Services Research, Medical Care Research and Review), health management journals ( Journal of Healthcare Management, Healthcare Management Review) and behavioral science journals ( Health Education Research, Journal of Aging and Health, Research on Aging, The Gerontologist, Journal of Applied Gerontology). They review manuscripts for numerous journals, serve in leadership roles within their appropriate academic societies, and staff federal granting agency review panels, professional service activities which attest to their research accomplishments.
