Assistantships and Fellowships

Graduate assistantships and full tuition scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis to all accepted doctoral students. Graduate assistantship stipends range from $21,000 to $23,000 per year. Most students are supported on faculty research grants by the end of their first year.

Students supported on assistantships are provided with comprehensive health insurance.

Masters students may apply for the David Axelrod Fellowship or the Merck Fellowship.
Special fellowships and assistantships are available for minority students.

The Department of Environmental Health Sciences is currently recruiting for a Graduate Assistantship position to begin in the fall of 2008.
