Public Health and the Uninsured

Nearly 50 million Americans are without health insurance. Dr. Fullilove will focus on the relationship between living without health insurance and the burden placed on public health systems to meet the needs of the uninsured. A history of health care and health insurance will be presented to help viewers understand "how we got into this mess in the first place."
This Educational Activity is presented by the School of Public Health Continuing Education, which has been approved as a provider of continuing education by the New York State Nurses Association’s Council on Continuing Education, which is accredited by the American Nurses’ Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
