Program Description:
Dr. Fullilove compares the loss of life and property following 9/11 to the devastation to communities of urban renewal. The presentation also describes the work of a new initiative, NYC RECOVERS, an alliance of organizations addressing social and emotional recovery throughout the greater metropolitan area. In addition, the presentation will explore roles that organizations of all kinds can play in the long recovery that lies ahead.
