California Distance Learning Network
The California Distance Learning Health Network (CDLHN), a non-profit organization under the Graduate School of Public Health at San Diego State University and SDSU Research Foundation, provides information on public health and safety through distance learning. CDLHN produces satellite broadcasts, webcasts, videos, DVDs, and CD-ROMs on a variety of public health topics including immunization and bioterrorism preparedness. New York-New Jersey Public Health Training Center
The University at Albany School of Public Health, Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of Public Health comprise the New York-New Jersey Public Health Training Center. The Center is funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to bring the theoretical expertise of faculty at accredited schools of public health together with the practical experience of leaders in public health practice. Public Health Foundation
The Public Health Foundation is a national, non-profit organization serving the public health community by providing information, training and technical assistance to support the nation’s public health system. The Foundation’s website ( www.phf.org ) contains reports, tools and information about public health infrastructure, as well as links to national, health-related organizations. It also provides access to the TrainingFinder Real-time Affiliate Integrated Network, or TRAIN. TRAIN, the nation’s most comprehensive learning resource for professionals who protect the public’s health, includes courses geared to specific, professional interests and continuing education requirements, as well as up-to-date courses on a wide spectrum on public health issues.
