Public Health Nurse Ready
"PHN Ready"
“PHN Ready” is a technology-based learning (TBL) certificate program to train nurses in local health departments in NYS and nationally.
This training will accomplish three significant goals:
- Help nurses acquire the public health nursing
competencies developed by the Quad Council of Public Health Nursing Organizations (a national expectation)
- Facilitate NY public health nurses in fulfilling the continuing education requirements for NY local PH professionals in the titles PHN 2 and Supervising PHN (specific to New York but not unique)
- Prepare public health nurses without the BSN degree to move more quickly toward completion of such a program.
We
