MDS 2.0 - Group Sessions

The School of Public Health can make these MDS workshops available for your group or facility:
  • MDS 2.0 - The Basics
  • This workshop is designed as a complete review of MDS 2.0. It is appropriate for newcomers or for experienced professionals who want a review of the basics.
  • Advanced MDS - Beyond the Basics
  • This workshop is appropriate for experienced professionals who want a better understanding of using MDS 2.0 and RAPs in care planning.

Univ. at Albany School of Public Health provides:

  • Two instructors currently working in long-term care
  • Delivery of curriculum sanctioned by the New York State Department of Health
  • Handouts, instructional materials for each participant.
  • Certificates of attendance for Nursing Home Administrator credit and New York State Nurses Association CEUs.
  • CEU applications for Dietary Managers, Registered Dietitians, Registered Dietary Technicians and Recreational Therapists.

The sponsoring group provides:

  • A quiet comfortable training room with tables and chairs for all participants.
  • Audio-visual equipment: overhead projector (LCD, if possible) and screen, microphone (wireless preferred) and VCR and monitor.
  • Registration of participants, collection of evaluations and verification of attendance.
  • Coffee breaks if desired.

Cost Per Training Day: $3500 for up to 35 participants; $4000 for up to 50 participants
