MDS 2.0 - The Basics
Get started on the road to success with MDS 2.0 and
gain an overall understanding of how to use the Resident
Assessment Instrument correctly. This workshop is designed
as an introduction to the basics of MDS 2.0. It is
appropriate for those with little or no MDS 2.0 experience.
Topics:
- What is MDS 2.0,
why is it required, and what has it accomplished?
- The User's Manual
- how to find answers to your questions.
- Overview of how
to complete all forms - with focus on more difficult
items.
- Basic understanding
of triggers, RAPs, and care planning.
- Questions and answers
- session size limited to allow for answers to
your questions.
Instructors: Taught
by experienced nursing home professionals with hands-on
MDS experience.
Who Should Attend: This
training is designed for long-term care professionals
who have little or no experience with the MDS 2.0 process.
Interdisciplinary team members are encouraged to attend
to get the complete picture of MDS 2.0.
