MDS 2.0
The Minimum Data
Set 2.0 (MDS 2.0) is a federally-mandated assessment
instrument that must be completed at specified intervals
for residents of long-term care facilities. MDS 2.0
is a core set of screening and assessment elements,
including definitions and coding categories, which
form the foundation of a comprehensive assessment.
The School of Public Health offers the only MDS 2.0
training approved by the New York State Department
