The Healthcare Information Xchange of New York (HIXNY) serves as the local regional health information organization (RHIO) for the greater Capital District and upstate New York.  Healthcare organizations partner to improve the delivery of healthcare in the region through the secure, authorized exchange of medical information at the point of care.  Join us to learn what electronic exchange of healthcare information means for the physician’s office, hospital, and other provider organizations.  Learn about local efforts to mobilize medical information at the point of care, electronic prescribing and clinical and cost-efficiency benefits with the system, as well as accomplishments of early adopter organizations.
