As the first decade of the 21st century nears the end and the baby boom generation begins retiring, earlier questions of "who will take care of us" can still be heard. Join us to learn of progress in improving recruitment and retention of the long-term direct care workforce. What have been the trends and policy changes at the state and federal levels? How have providers addressed the needs of these workers? How have providers addressed the needs of family caregivers? Has the culture of long-term care organizations changed in this decade, improving workforce recruitment and retention efforts?
