Women's Health Grand Rounds in cooperation with the March of Dimes presents Folic Acid Update for Pharmacists Satellite broadcast originally aired November 13, 2003
This broadcast provided pharmacists and
pharmacy students information on the pharmacology of folic acid and its role
in the prevention of certain types of birth defects, called neural tube
defects. It will assist pharmacists in developing and
strengthening interactive strategies to inform patients about the health
benefits of folic acid.
Featuring: The Women’s Health Grand Rounds series has been endorsed by the New York State Chapters of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
