This videoconference gave physicians, decision-makers, and teams the basic information necessary to support breastfeeding and implement best practices in breastfeeding management.

The Women’s Health Grand Rounds series has been endorsed by the New York State Chapters of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Continuing Education
The School of Public Health, University at Albany, is accredited by the Medical Society of the State of New York to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The School designates this educational activity for a maximum of 2 category one credits toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the activity.

This Educational Activity is presented by the School of Public Health Continuing Education, which has been approved as a provider of continuing education by the New York State Nurses Associations' Council on Continuing Education, which is accredited by the American Nurses' Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. It has been designated for 2.4 contact hours and has been assigned code 5TLL8T-PRV-04-039.

This activity is sponsored by the School of Public Health, University at Albany, SUNY, a designated provider of continuing education contact hours (CECH) in health education by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. This program is designated for the CHES to receive up to 2 Category I CECH in health education.

Continuing education credits will be available for Registered Dieticians, Dietary Technicians, Dietary Managers, and Certified Lactation Consultants.
