Basic Environmental Health Program Foundations of Public Health Practice
Contaminated Sites (EH 104D)
This half-day in person class includes the following topics:
- Elements of an exposure pathway
- Understand how to safely identify and evaluate hazards at sites
- Sampling and analytical methods for investigating exposures
- Proper sample collection and submission procedures
First priority for this course is given to local and state health department personnel who are required to take the BEHP. Second priority is given to individuals registered for the Foundations of Public Health Practice certificate program. Other public health staff may register on a space-available basis.
