Center for Health Workforce Studies
The objectives of the Center for Health Workforce
Studies are:
-To increase access and to improve the quality, efficiency,
and equity of health care by encouragingeducation, training,
distribution, and use of health personnel consistent
with health care needs.
-To help direct public and private policies and resources
related to education, training, distribution, and use
of health workers.
-To improve the effectiveness of the marketplace for
health professionals and other health workers by collecting,
analyzing, and distributing data and information on
the supply, demand, need, and use of health personnel
to health providers, education and training organizations,
and others.
