Vice President's
Advisory Council
on AIDS Prevention
During the Spring, 1997 semester, Vice-President for Student Affairs, James P. Doellefeld,
created a council with membership from across the University Community to advise the
University on AIDS prevention issues. One of the top priority recommendations
from the Council, which met throughout the 1997-98 academic year, was the creation of a
web site where students could find accurate information to protect themselves and to seek
testing or care. This web site results from that recommendation and the
support of the Vice-President's Office.
