Experiential Learning

The School of Public Health Experiential Learning Program remains a national model for practice and research based public health education and offers a variety of placements for students in each concentration and degree. As a requirement for completion of the MPH and MS Degree Programs, students rotate through diverse areas of public health practice. Our unique relationship with the NYS Department of Health (NYSDOH) sets us apart from other public health programs by providing students with valuable, practice-based experiences and an opportunity to network in the field.

The Experiential Learning Program comes in two forms:

Internships for MPH students and Field Placement for MS students.
