    Faculty Awarded HRSA Grant for Maternal and Child Health Program

    Christine T. Bozlak and Rachel de Long were recently awarded a $350,000 Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) grant to develop a Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Public Health Catalyst Program. The program, an initiative of the HRSA MCH Bureau, will provide an increased focus on fundamental MCH content in schools of public health and introduce students to careers in the MCH field.

  • Advocacy and Public Health

     The School of Public Health, in partnership with the SPH Graduate Student Organization, the American Cancer Society and the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network present Advocacy and Public Health: Shaping Public Policy to Address Public Health Concerns, featuring Blair Horner, executive director, New York Public Interest Research Group (NYPIRG).  A panel discussion will follow.
