Thank you for your interest in the Online MPH program at the University at Albany School of Public Health!

Accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH), our fully-online, part-time program provides students the flexibility to balance work and family obligations while pursuing graduate coursework to advance their professional goals and make meaningful contributions to promoting and preserving the health of populations.

The academic and experiential learning components of the program provide students with a solid foundation in the core disciplines of public health and sets out to develop leaders in public health, possessing the knowledge and ability to develop, implement and evaluate public health interventions locally and globally.

The Online MPH in Public Health Practice program attracts a diverse student body, including those who have worked in the field of public health or health care for a number of years, those seeking a career transition and those just setting out on their career path. The discussion-based format of the online courses provides ample opportunity for students to share their diverse backgrounds and experiences, providing a rich learning and networking experience.
