The Ebola Outbreak: How New York State is Preparing and What We All Need to Know

A Special Community Dialogue Event focused on the biology of the Ebola virus and the public health response in the US.

School of Public Health Dean, Philip Nasca, welcomes Martin Tenniswood, PhD, Empire Innovations Professor in the Biomedical Sciences department at the School of Public Health, and Guthrie Birkhead, MD, MPH, Deputy Commissioner of the Office of Public Health for the New York State Department of Health, who will discuss the biology of the Ebola virus and public health approach being developed to restrict the spread of the disease in the US.
