Hoff named Among 101 Most Influential Professors of Public Health
Timothy Hoff, associate professor of Health Policy and Management, was recently identified among the 101 Most Influential Professors of Public Health in 2012 on MPHProgramsList.com, an on-line service for public health student education. The service recognizes the role of faculty in the education of students and recognized the 101 most influential as they call “the very best, most highly influential professors that teach public health programs at the moment.”
Hoff, recognized in the Health Policy and Management category, has special interest in the areas of health reform implementation, health care quality, primary care, and physician behavior. He frequently teaches the Principles of Health Organization Management course and the Strategic Planning and Decision Making in Health Care course.
His book, Practice Under Pressure: Primary Care Physicians and Their Medicine in the 21st Century, was named one of Choice Magazine's Outstanding Academic Titles of 2010.
