In-person Trainings
Welcome to the In-Person Training page. The trainings listed
below represent the ten most popular in- person trainings developed by the
UAlbany Center for Public Health Preparedness and NY•NJ PERLC. These trainings have been mapped
retrospectively to the Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals,
developed under the auspices of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
They contain valuable information delivered in original presentations by
leaders in the field of Public Health Preparedness. These training materials
were originally developed to be used as tools for delivering in-person
training, but can also be used for individual computer based study.
The list below represents a small selection of the trainings
we currently offer to health professionals, agencies, and organizations in an
effort to increase education among the public health workforce and are
available to be downloaded for use in your agency or organization.
