Edward Fitzgerald is associate dean for Research and holds appointments as professor in both the Department of Environmental Health Sciences and the Deaprtment of Epidemiology and Biostatistics.  He received his PhD in Epidemiology from the Yale University School of Public Health in 1982. Prior to joining the faculty full time, he worked for more than 20 years at the New York State Department of Health and held a a faculty appointment at the School of Public Health. His research interests include environmental and occupational epidemiology, biomarkers, neuroepidemiology, and international health.
