Eric Sharma, '09

Eric Sharma is a Consultant in the Clinical Excellence practice of GE Healthcare Performance Solutions business. As a consultant, Eric delivers clinical and operational performance improvement engagements for healthcare provider clients across the country. Prior to joining GE Healthcare, Eric was an Administrative Fellow at the Albany Stratton VA Medical Center.  He was responsible for supporting senior management by developing and implementing new strategies, providing data analysis for key decisions, and improving administrative and clinical processes to better serve Veterans.

Previously, Eric was the Healthcare Initiatives Intern for GE Corporate. He was responsible for supporting GE’s role in catalyzing change in the healthcare system through the development of new market-based strategies focused on provider performance measurement, health care payment reform, and global health policies. He was also an Intern at the Foundation for Healthy Living, where he helped implement a social marketing campaign to increase community awareness about the public health threat of childhood obesity in New York State. He has a Master of Public Health from SUNY Albany and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Minnesota.

Eric is a native of Midland, MI and currently resides in Dallas, TX.
