Department of Sociology Alumni Spotlight
Carol Mandigo
Carol graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Sociology in 1979 from SUNY Albany and then continued here to get her Master's Degree in Social Work. She believes that her eduation in sociology has been very helpful in her career as a social worker, providing a good understanding of cultural diversity, of human behavior as it relates to the environment, and of gang behavior, social deviance, and subculture communities.

Carol Mandigo LICSW |
Carol is currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private practice in Concord, NH. Her life's work has focused on helping people find a more meaningful and satisfying life. She has worked as a psychotherapist providing family therapy, couples counseling, group therapy and individual counseling for over 25 years. Prior to joining Cornerstone Family Resources as a private practitioner, she was the Vice President of Home Based Services at Child and Family Services of NH. She also has provided training, consultation services and supervision to other clinicians and social service agencies throughout New England. Carol is known to be a knowledgeable, caring therapist, a dynamic speaker and has maintained a great sense of humor throughout her extensive career.
