David Duffee

Specialization: Community building and organizational development, criminal justice theory, and criminal justice agency performance and evidence based practice in child welfare.

David Duffee is the principal investigator for Service Outcomes Action Research (SOAR), a partnership between the Hindelang Criminal Justice Research Center and two juvenile and family treatment agencies, which enables service providers to engage in continual program improvement by generating and analyzing evidence from their own programs.

David Duffee is editor of Measurement and Analysis of Crime and Justice , volume 4 in the National Institute of Justice series Criminal Justice 2000 . He is currently working with Edward Maguire on a volume on criminal justice theory for Routledge. He is the author of Explaining Criminal Justice: Community Theory and Criminal Justice Reform .
