Welcome to the Division of School Psychology

Dear Prospective Applicant:

THE DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS TO THE CAS PROGRAM IN SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGY HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO FEBRUARY 15, 2010.

The Faculty in the Division of School Psychology welcome the opportunity to introduce you to the graduate programs in school psychology at the University at Albany, State University of New York (SUNY). This website provides a description of the programs leading to the degree of Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in School Psychology, which is accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA), and the Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS) in School Psychology, which is approved by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP). Students in the doctoral program have historically been fully funded, including a tuition waiver and stipend. In addition to this website, applicants should review a copy of the University’s Graduate Bulletin, available online at www.albany.edu.

If you are interested in helping children, our APA accredited and NASP approved school psychology programs can help you achieve that goal.

We appreciate your consideration of our programs and encourage you to carefully review our program website. We look forward to hopefully receiving your application.

Sincerely,
Faculty, Division of School Psychology
