School Psychology Program Ranks Among Nation's Top Ten

Albany, NY (March 5, 2012) - According to a recent analysis in the Journal of School Psychology, UAlbany's school psychology program ranked 7th in scholarly productivity among the nation’s APA-accredited school psychology doctoral programs.

The Faculty in the Division of School Psychology welcome the opportunity to introduce you to the graduate programs in school psychology at the University at Albany, State University of New York (SUNY). This website provides a description of the programs leading to the degree of Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in School Psychology, which is accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA), and the Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS) in School Psychology, which is approved by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP). Students in the doctoral program have historically been fully funded, including a tuition waiver and stipend. In addition to this website, applicants should review a copy of the University’s Graduate Bulletin, available online at www.albany.edu.

If you are interested in helping children, our APA accredited and NASP approved school psychology programs can help you achieve that goal.

We appreciate your consideration of our programs and encourage you to carefully review our program website. We look forward to hopefully receiving your application.

Sincerely,
Faculty, Division of School Psychology
