Undergraduate Opportunities

Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy provides undergraduate students a rich combination of academic and experiential learning opportunities that create a strong foundation for careers in the public, non-profit and private sectors. We also offer combined degree programs that allow our students to begin graduate education while still enrolled as an undergraduate.

Distinctive Academic & Intern Opportunities:

Honor Societies:

The Bachelor of Arts (BA) degrees in Political Science, and Public Policy and Management build a strong foundation for our students so that they may excel in careers in law, business, government, education and communications.
Our approach combines the classroom experience with engagement in the Capital District and beyond so that students are able to see the relationship between theory and practice. In addition, our students take advantage of pre-professional opportunities through the NYS Assembly internship Program and Semester In Washington.  And as move forward and excel within their program of study they may be selected to join our prestigious honors progams, and/or one of our two Academic Honor Societies, Pi Sigma Alpha (For Political Science) and Pi Alpha Alpha (for Public Policy and Management).
