Undergraduate Scholarships

Rockefeller  College  Alumni  Academic  Excellence  Scholarships.  Awards of $1000 each: Awarded to at least two students whose record demonstrates academic excellence.

Eligible students will be established Political Science or Public Policy majors (in progress or complete more than half of the credit requirements in their major) with at least Junior status, who will be continuing as Undergraduates at the University at Albany in the Fall, and whose academic record reflects a consistently high level of achievement and challenge.  Students interested in applying should submit a current audit and cover letter identifying two academic achievements of which they are most proud and why.  Complete applications must be received by 2PM Friday April 19th in Humanities 16. No additional documents, including recommendations, will be accepted.

Rockefeller  College  Alumni  Public  Service  Scholarships.  Awards of $1000 each: Awarded to at least two students whose record demonstrates excellence in public service.

Eligible students will be established Political Science or Public Policy majors (in progress or complete more than half of the credit requirements in their major) with Junior or Senior status at the time of application. Students must have a GPA of at least 3.0 and a public service record that reflects a consistently high level of participation and leadership on campus and in the community. Students interested in applying should submit a resume detailing their community and public service record since entering college (including at any transfer institution) and a cover letter describing which two projects or service contribution are most important to them and why.   Complete applications must be received by 2PM Friday April 19th in Humanities 16. No additional documents, including recommendations, will be accepted.
