Jennifer currently serves as Director of Internships & Career Programs in the Office of Career & Alumni Programs at the University at Albany's Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy. She advises undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in political science and public administration career paths, as well as alumni of the programs. Through individual and group counseling, workshops, and seminars, Jennifer assists students to find internships and jobs in local, state, and federal government, as well as nonprofit organizations and private industry.
Prior to moving to the University at Albany in November 2009, Jennifer served as a Career Counselor at Pace University in New York City. At the Co-op & Career Services office at Pace, she advised students enrolled in the co-op program and assisted students and alumni to find full-time employment. During her tenure in that role, she implemented many programs such as Mock Interview Day, Professional Correspondence, and Job Search Strategies for Liberal Arts Students.
In the past, Jennifer served as Team Leader of Academic Advising at Cardean Learning Group, and taught classes at Ellis University online. She earned her BA in Psychology and MA in Higher Education Student Affairs from the University of Connecticut. Jennifer is certified in the MBTI and Strong Interest Inventory. Throughout the years, she has been affiliated with NASPA, ACPA, and the SUNY Career Development Organization.
