Semester In Washington
"Building a bridge from college
to the rest of your life"
An integral part of the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy's Department of Political Science, the program is designed to be both a capstone and a launching pad.
While exploring one of the world's great cities you will...
- Meet political leaders
- Get an inside view of government
- Develop the tools you will need to launch a successful career in any field
- Earn 15 credits (6 for major or minor)
- Writing-intensive (with an Honors thesis option)
And you will do all this while taking small seminars and working closely with a senior faculty member on work that will grow out of your own interests.
The Semester in Washington is offered only in the spring for UAlbany juniors and seniors.
