General Information
The Graduate Program is an intellectually rigorous program designed to produce effective teachers and good scholars. Students who have graduated from the program have been successful in garnering positions from a variety of Universities - both research universities and liberal arts colleges. Others have moved successfully into government service at the state and federal level.
Applying to the graduate program is easy. Prospective students only need to submit a complete application packet, a writing sample and send your GRE or TOFEL scores to the University.
The Department of Political Science accepts applications to the Ph.D. and MA programs for the Fall and Spring sessions. Applications are due by FEBRUARY 1 for full-time study and JULY 1 for part-time study for the Fall session, and NOVEMBER 1 for the Spring session.
