Research interests
include the application of quantitative

Publications relate to Congress
and elections as well as women
and politics,
including "Restriction or Representation:
Congressional Committee Assignments
of First Term Women and Blacks
Since 1965," Legislative Studies Quarterly (1996)
and "Accommodation Issues in the
Work Place for People with Disabilities:
a needs assessment in an educational

Sally has
recently been working on the
home styles of New York representatives
to assess whether national factors
of the 1990s have caused Congresspeople
to adapt their presentational
styles
differently than the 1970s. She
has also developed a database in
regard
to the presentation of disabilities
in films.
