Thursday Policy Lunch Series Returns for Spring Semester
Rockefeller College's Thursday Policy Brown Bag Lunch Series resumes this Thursday afternoon, January 31 with Assistant Professor Feng (Johnson) Qian from the Department of Health Policy, Management, and Behavior at the School of Public Health as the spring semester's inaugural speaker. Professor Qian, a medical doctor as well as PhD, will lead a workshop titled the "Variation of Blood Transfusion in Patients Undergoing Major Non-cardiac Surgery."
The Thursday Policy Lunch Series is intended to expose doctoral students to the nuts and bolts of methods-based public policy research. In addition, it offers students the opportunity to present their own research and facilitates the communication of policy research among participants. The workshop is run by Rockefeller College's Department of Public Administration and Policy. All guests are most welcome to bring a lunch and take part in the discussion. Each lunchtime workshop runs from 12-1:00pm and is held in Milne Hall, Room 215 on the University at Albany's downtown campus.
