ALBANY, N.Y. (March 21, 2011) -- U.S. Representative Paul D. Tonko of New York’s 21st congressional district addressed two Rockefeller College undergraduate classes Monday, March 21 on the uptown campus of the University at Albany.
In a sixty minute presentation that included opening remarks and a Q&A with political science and public law students, Congressman Tonko shared his views on a wide range of issues including education, energy, health care, jobs, urban development, and the importance of public service. At President Barack Obama’s side when he visited the Capital Region in 2009 and again in 2010, Congressman Tonko provided the class with an insider’s view of what it’s like to travel with the commander-in-chief on Air Force One.
