Rove and Dean Face-Off at SEFCU Arena

Albany, N.Y. (April 9, 2010) - Former Bush White House Senior Advisor Karl Rove and one-time Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean faced-off in a spirited and entertaining debate sponsored by the UAlbany Student Association on Thursday, April 8. Dean Jeffrey Straussman of the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy moderated the 70-minute discussion that drew over 2,500 attendees and covered issues ranging from healthcare to Middle East policy. Earlier in the day while visiting two Rockfeller College political science classes, the duo fielded questions from political theory and public policy students.
