Albany N.Y. (July 24, 2012) - Rockefeller College public management specialist Yvonne D. Harrison has been invited to present at the 6th Australasian Better Boards Conference in Melbourne, Australia July 27-29.

She and research partner Vic Murray of the University of Victoria are the developers of Board Check-Up, an online self-assessment tool that boards of directors and nonprofit organizations can use free-of-charge to assess their effectiveness. Professor Harrison is an expert on the role and impact of nonprofit board leadership and the adoption and use of new technology. She is a consultant for a number of nonprofits in North America and around the world.
