Rockefeller College Salutes the Class of 2010

Albany N.Y. (May 16, 2010) - Hundreds of graduates, their families and friends celebrated Commencement 2010 on the grounds of Rockefeller College this past weekend. On Friday afternoon, May 14, Barbara VanEpps, Deputy Director of the New York State Conference of Mayors, spoke about the great rewards and responsibilities of a career in public service as she delivered the keynote address in a Rockefeller College ceremony honoring this year’s PhDs and MPAs. On Sunday, May 16, bachelor’s degree recipients heard from UAlbany alumnus Michael A. Lampert, Senior Vice President and General Counsel of BGC Securities. Mr. Lampert, a past president of the University Alumni Association, urged the new graduates to follow their passion in life. Both ceremonies were held at Page Hall on the downtown campus.
