The Homeland Security curriculum, designed by University faculty in consultation with intelligence, law enforcement, and public management experts, provides graduates with the foundation to become more effective homeland security professionals and managers.

Homeland Security concentration students will increase their understandings of:

  • The origin, nature, and impact of terrorism;
  • intelligence analysis and information sharing;
  • The role of intelligence, homeland security, and criminal justice agencies;
  • Analytic, methodological, and technical skills for analyzing security/intelligence issues.
