About Professor Stinnett
Doug Stinnett received his Ph.D. in political science at The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His interests include international law, international organizations, international environmental politics, and international security. He has applied these interests to several specific issues, including international environmental cooperation, conflict management, compliance with UN Security Council Resolutions, and the connections between domestic politics and foreign policy. His current research focuses on the creation, design, and effectiveness of international agreements governing transboundary rivers.
