US Homeland Security Official to Visit Rockefeller

On Wednesday, April 6, US Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary for the Private Sector Douglas Andrew Smith will visit Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy to speak with students, faculty, and members of the New York State homeland security community about the role higher education can play -- through education, training, and R&D -- in combating cyberterrorism. The assistant secretary’s presentation begins at 4:30pm in the Husted Amphitheatre at 135 Western Ave., Albany. Attendees are invited to a reception with Assistant Secretary Smith from 4 to 4:30pm. Reservations are recommended. |
