2013 Rockefeller College Alumni Dinner and Awards Ceremony
Call for Nominations
Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy invites you to nominate an individual for a 2013 Rockefeller College Alumni Award. These prestigious awards, given out annually since 1984, honor outstanding achievement and service to the College and community. Each year Rockefeller recognizes a number of distinguished individuals for their considerable contributions in the areas of political science, public administration, leadership, and continuing professional development. The awards will be presented at the Alumni Dinner and Awards Ceremony on Friday, May 17, 2013 at the New York State Museum, 222 Madison Avenue, Albany, New York.
Please review the award categories and submit your nominations online. The deadline for nominations is Tuesday, January 15, 2013. All submissions will be reviewed by the Nominations Committee. Selections will be made in early 2013.

Political Science Award: Awarded to an alumnus or alumna from the Department of Political Science for outstanding achievement in his or her career and civic life
Public Administration and Policy Award: Awarded to an alumnus or alumna from the Department of Public Administration for outstanding achievement in his or her career and civic life
Distinguished Continuing Professional Education & Leadership Award of Excellence: Awarded to an individual with a distinguished career in extended learning and continuing professional development
Young Alumni Award: Awarded to a Rockefeller College alumnus or alumna in each department — Political Science and Public Administration and Policy — who has graduated in the last 10 years and whose early career achievements and civic life demonstrate great promise and accomplishment beyond the norm expected in his or her field
Lifetime Achievement Award: Awarded to a Rockefeller College alumnus or alumna who has demonstrated sustained, outstanding performance throughout his or her career and civic life
Distinguished Service to Rockefeller College Award: Awarded to an individual whose actions have substantially benefited the students and faculty of Rockefeller College. This benefit may have taken place over time or during a specific outstanding situation. The recipient may be an alumnus, alumna, friend, faculty member, agency, or corporation.
