PhD in Public Administration and Policy Application Requirements and Deadlines
All applicants must apply through the University’s Online Application System. Supplementary materials such as the statement of background and goals and resume should be uploaded into the online application system. Once the application is complete, it will be reviewed by faculty in the Department of Public Administration and Policy.
- January 15th for funding consideration
PhD Application Checklist:
- Completed Degree Application
- Official transcripts* of all graduate and undergraduate work to date
- Official GRE scores (GMAT scores are also acceptable)
- Three letters of recommendation
- Statement of Background and Goals (Special Instructions)
- $75 Application Fee
*Scanned copies of transcripts will not be accepted as official. Applications will not be reviewed without official copies of the transcripts.
Writing samples will be accepted, but are not required. A writing sample is expected to be a substantial written piece of research, such as a master's essay, major seminar paper, or published work.
For International Applicants:
