Ways to Partner with The RNA Institute
As New York's national research resource for RNA-based biomedical advancement, the RNA Institute is committed to initiating and fostering collaborative public-private partnerships among New York State institutions, other institutions, and biotechnology/drug discovery companies. The RNA Institute is seeking partners for:
- Collaborative research programs to develop novel RNA-based therapeutics, diagnostics, delivery systems, visualization systems, and adaptation of equipment for the study of RNA;
- Commercialization of novel RNA-based technologies and discoveries;
- Training programs in RNA-based drug discovery for students, postdoctoral fellows, faculty, and corporate scientists.
The Institute has more than 50 principal researchers employing over 350 staff members in New York’s Capital Region alone. These researchers attract $11 million annually in federal grants for RNA research into the most difficult of human diseases.
