Finger Lakes RNA Conference
The University of Rochester Center for RNA Biology and the Hudson Valley RNA Club are pleased to invite you to participate in the second annual RNA Upstate NY: Finger Lakes RNA Conference. This year’s meeting will be held at the Inn on the Lake, Canandaigua, NY on October 25-26. Registration before September 6th can be completed at:The conference will feature oral and poster presentations highlighting current work on a wide range of topics including cutting-edge computational, structural and biochemical approaches to key topics in RNA structure, RNA catalysis, RNA-protein interactions, RNA interference, and RNA genomics.
The program features Keynote Lectures by Nahum Sonneberg (McGill University), Marlene Belfort (Wadsworth Center), Phillip Bevilacqua (Penn State University) and Ailong Ke (Cornell University). Additional speakers will be selected from submitted abstracts. Graduate students and postdoctoral fellows are especially encouraged to submit abstracts.
The organizers with the support of the National Science Foundation have set aside funds for fellowships to support the conference fees of a limited number of graduate students and postdoctoral fellows selected for oral presentations.
Deadline for early abstract submission and registration: September 6, 2013.
