PDP Receives Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Award for Nationwide Training Program

Eugene Monaco, Excutive Director, Professional Development Program, received an award to aid in the development of a nationwide training program aimed at enhancing key job skills among those working to curb the spread of sexually transmitted diseases and HIV/AIDS.

Dr. Edward Hannan, School of Public Health, Receives NHLBI Award

School of Public Health Researchers Receive $1.1 Million Stimulus Grant

University at Albany School of Public Health researchers Janine M. Jurkowski and Kirsten K. Davison have received a $1.1 million stimulus grant through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) to address the national childhood obesity epidemic. 

Center for Technology in Government Awarded NSF Grant

With a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF), Principle Investigator Sharon Dawes along with Co-Investigators Anthony Cresswell and Theresa Pardo, propose to develop new social Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) models and tools for computing based knowledge sharing across geographic and political boundaries focused on air pollution.

Dr. Cheryl Frye Receives NIMH Award
