Message from the President
UAlbany Disaster Relief Fund
Helping the Victims of Typhoon Haiyan
Dear Members of the Campus Community:
As you know, Typhoon Haiyan struck the central Philippines causing untold damage, widespread homelessness and loss of life. In the wake of this tragedy, the University at Albany has established a UAlbany Disaster Relief Fund to provide resources and support for those in need.
Compassion and generosity have always been defining characteristics of our UAlbany community. That is why I am asking for us to come together to support those individuals and families who were affected by the catastrophe and are seeking relief. I hope you will join me in supporting the victims of Typhoon Haiyan by making a contribution to the UAlbany Disaster Relief Fund.
Thank you in advance for supporting those who have been impacted by this devastating event. Through our collective generosity, the University at Albany can continue to make a real difference in the lives of those in need both locally and abroad.
