Transcripts

Official transcripts contain a record of all courses, grades and degrees from the University at Albany. In addition, credit hours accepted from other institutions will be listed as the total hours accepted and the name of the institution. Transcripts submitted to the University at Albany from other institutions for admission or credit become the property of the University at Albany and cannot be returned to the student or forwarded to other institutions. A transcript may be sent only at the request of the student for his or her own academic record.     

TRANSCRIPTS CANNOT BE ISSUED FOR STUDENTS WHO HAVE A HOLD ON THEIR RECORDS.

UAlbany students applying for graduate admission at UAlbany do not need to request an official copy of their UAlbany transcript.

Transcripts can be requested online or in person.  Please select one of the following options:

• In Person

NOTE: Attachments (such as a University cover sheet, AMCAS form, Common Application form, etc.) can currently only accompany transcripts requested Online for mail delivery.  We expect to be able to do this for electronic delivery in the coming months.

*Electronic Transcript Certificate of Authenticity 

The University at Albany has appointed Credentials, Inc. as the designated agent for processing and sending official electronic transcripts for the University.  The PDF transcript that is produced using this service contains the identical information as the printed transcript and can be certified as unaltered by uploading the file to the company's website that is provided during the delivery process.  Credentials, Inc. has been granted the authority to deliver all such electronic transcript requests on behalf of the University at Albany and respond to any inquiries regarding the transactions.
