Undergraduate students may select S/U grading in undergraduate courses or sections normally graded A-E by filing a S/U, A-E Grading Option form with the Registrar's Office no later than the date specified in the academic calendar. 

1. Matriculated undergraduate students are limited to a maximum of 2 courses of 'S' by selection in courses below the 300 level except where, in specific courses approved by the UAC Curriculum Committee, departments, schools, or programs require A-E grading for majors.  These 2 courses of 'S' by selection may be in addition to all 'S' grades received in department or school designated S/U graded sections or courses.
   
   
2. Undergraduate students may not opt for S/U grading in courses at the 300 & 400 level or in graduate courses.
   
   
3. Graduate students may not opt for S/U grading in undergraduate or graduate courses.
