Brian Burr is a Reading Recovery and first grade Literacy Specialist at the Milton Terrace Primary Center in the Ballston Spa Central School District. He received his BS in Elementary Education from the State University of New York at Geneseo, and his MS in Reading from the University at Albany. He is currently enrolled in the Doctoral program in Reading at the University at Albany as well. Brian’s current research interests lie in the areas of teacher preparation, early intervention, and society’s influences on both. Brian (as well as his wife Trisha and son Owen) enjoys competitive cross-country skiing and cycling, and can’t wait for snow to come!
